Berkeley Heights will continue with its tradition of holding its reorganization meeting on New Years Day. New Providence will hold its meeting on Monday, Jan.5, and Summit on Tuesday, Jan. 5. The Township Council will hold a Special Meeting for the Reorganization of the Township Council at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 1, at Town Hall, 29 Park Ave., in the council chambers.

NEW PROVIDENCE - Police charged a Berkeley Heights resident with possession of a CDS after checking out Oakwood Park on Dec. 21. According to police, Corporal Wilson encountered several people in the park after hours, when he was on patrol. While he was talking to them, he learned Matthew Ward, 18, was in possession of a controlled dangerous substance.
