Berkeley Heights Schools Report a Decrease in Violence Vandalism and HIB Incidents

A total of two incidents of violence and no vandalism incidents occurred in the townships public schools from Jan. 1 to June 30 of this year, compared to four violence incidents and two vandalism incidents for the similar time period last year, according to a report presented at last weeks Berkeley Heights Board of Education meeting by Grace Acosta, Mark Cantagallo, Kevin Morra and Tara Oliveira. The report, under state law, combines data included in the states Electronic Violence and Vandalism Reporting System and the Harassment, Intimidation or Bullying - Investigations, Trainings and Programs Data Collection System.
